There have been a lot of ideas floating around in this blog and on the Playhaven forums, as well as emailed to us. These range from dual-wielded machine guns for Gangster Gore to an absolute clover-fest for Santa (who is, consequently, very very fond of the clovers). We figured it's time to see which character's trait you want included in the next update.We will keep John Gore the way he is which is the reason he is not included in the voting.

ReplyDeleteIMO half of joy of playing new character it is his characteristic voice and speech. Why new characters are silent? If you don't have enough time etc. organise contest to the best speech of Lizzy, Ninja Man and so on... :) We fans stand up to the challenge!

ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have new skins but no new voice means to me that they're not really characters. So changing what John Gore, Xmas Gore and Gangster Gore say so that they're different would add to the game. I'd take less skins for characters that had a unique voice. Hope the next update can improve on this.

I agree with the fact that all the new characters should have voices however it has been said by Timo in the beta tester thread that the respective companys own the voice rights to the characters. Also I think specials should be given to DLC characters first becuase

Oh, you bet there is going to be DC. We are starting out with co-op multiplayer, some wicked shrooms and the contest winner's character added into the game in the first update. You also get to have a say on what goes into the game in the second update! Keep an eye on this blog -- we'll be posting.

When I was back there, I saw MICERS post about leveling up the crate when you blow it up, because since the crates are so easy to blow up you really feel like you wasted it since you could be duel wielding grenade launchers with that crate... I think it should be totally be implemented great idea

ReplyDeleteCross promotional characters again MS? What happened to MiniGore, seriously. Aside from Jerry Gore and Evans, there're no other original characters? I'm sorry but imo MiniGore is becoming more of a promotianal platform instead. Who are the characters; the girl holding John Gore's hand for example. And those puppet-like monsters on the loading screen. More original content would be best for MiniGore right now.

What about if you got permission off them to record your own, is that possible? Loopholes?

The bought characters and sensei even in my opinion should get the first traits.
Its like say you were playing modern warfare. And you got to level 55. What now? Oh nothing...

Saying all that this is the best game on my ipod, just dont let the origality thing get out of hand. This is your game, keep in that way. A brilliant game. Just please good you answer this question.

@Elliohow: Certainly nothing's impossible, though the process is more involved when it comes to characters from other games. Furthermore, as none of them actually speak in their games, there is no ready template for us to follow. With our original designs we are free to do whatever we wish and also give a lot of creative freedom to Egoraptor.

ReplyDeleteYA timmo and kimmo consider this, for the promotional characters change some things for each character. For HOOK CHAMP guy, insted of wolfworm make the boss the ghost that chaces you in the game. For SWAY add spike that hurt you when you run into them. For ZOMBIEVILLE guy make the zombies look like the ones in the zombieville game, (thats for when zombies actually come)

ReplyDeleteYes please stop being so impatient and immature. I wonder, does anyone realize that developers get to take a Christmas break too? They have been GONE! They started back this week so chill. They are working on lots of new content. I don't like waiting so long for updates, but they have limited resources. Just imagine how long it takes big developers like Gameloft and EA to update, and now imagine Mountain Sheep with only a few developers. Mountain Sheep is constantly working on Minigore, it just takes a little longer. And that would also explain Hargore. They can only work on one game at a time. Hardgore will come out after Minigore is almost done. Whenever they choose to do that. Try to put yourself in their position. In a perfect world, Mountain Sheep would be a giant company like Gameloft and they would still put in the same effort into giving their customers awesome new content.

I dont know why the people is so mad cause of the co-op ? cause it's going to be local only , not world wide , the co-op it's not going to be cool cause it's local only ! so i am waiting patiently for the new characters cause , all this months waiting for only a little local wi-fi update? thats really suck's- if u mountain sheep do it online multiplayer this is going to be the best game for iphone! but if you do it local (like you are make it ) me and some people dont wanna like it! so think about that!

ReplyDeleteThe multiplayer in Episode 4 is local and works over wi-fi and bluetooth. I feel local multiplayer is best suited for Minigore's co-op where you have to coordinate things with your friend.
ReplyDelete@Anon: Screenshots of levels, guns, etc. are only about 1/4th of the battle. Most of the effort goes into what you cannot actually see from a screenshot. This is why we can't simply release them as soon as there is a screenshot.

ReplyDeleteThe best you have to change is the voices which are really good it gives personnality to characters thats why i only play with gore's family & Santa ( and also bear cause his weapons are so cool) maybie you have to give new weapons to the one who don't have (actually) personality: ninja, sway, zombie...

This only costed you about one or two bucks so don't complain. And I doubt Guerilla Bob is even going to have coop. They still may add more stuff like that hook champ guy (I got the app it's great). Just be patient.
