PS. Episode 3.7 was submitted before Minigore HD but latter was approved faster. It's probably because of the DLC in Ep 3.7 which makes the approval last a bit longer.

Painting Minigore levels

The next episode is in beta testing! It features this zombie fellow below:

This is a bit different blog post...

I though it would interesting to show a timelapse footage of how I paint the level textures.

The only maps you've been able to play so far are the forest and it's snow version. This is one of the levels that I've been working on behind the scenes while waiting for the coding side to catch up:

Snow level making of

I've also changed the forest level quite a bit since Episode 1, adding small details and refining certain areas. It's gonna get yet another layer of polish:

Snow forest gets similar treatment:

As I said above, Episode 3.7 is in final beta testing now! It includes new gameplay that will make the gaming experience fresh again :)

Newcomer

Time to introduce the latest addition to the family of furries - the Predator Furry. Sam, a shoutout to you for the name.

This fiesty little furry is quite different from the rest of the pack; it won't come straight at you. This one hides in the bushes, stalking on its prey, moving from one hideout to another until it's ready to make the plunge. I tell you, it is fast like you have never seen before. Predator Furry is exclusive to the Insane Mode, so anyone who is yet to unlock it, start honing those skills because this mad creature is guaranteed to test them.

Back on the map

Who is? John Gore is, of course, and not just on any old map. He's on the map of Hardland, quite literally. You all sworn survivalists will be treated to a number of exciting new things as the game starts expanding in levels and game modes.

You can see from here you will have access to the familiar survival in all of its flavors. Once you tap on any of the emblems, a preview thumbnail will open up and the emblem animates. A second tap will take you to the selected level or game mode. There are also a few hints of things to come on this map. The emblem in the bottom right corner looks an awful lot like zombies, but whatever could the fourth emblem be? Time will tell, I suppose.

We are also planning on adding experimental game modes - they may be completely out of line or outright crazy, like a fat John Gore rolling around using tilt controls (just an example), but the bottom line is we want to try out new things and share them with you without the need for them to be completely refined. These game modes will be marked with the title "Experimental".

P.S. For those who thought we were dead, Minigore was dead or that they were dead themselves, fear not - Dec 20, 2012 is still only coming up and we didn't crawl into a hole either and abandon you. :) Some of us were in the UK for business, some on holiday in Africa and some simply working on things behind the scenes.
